M.A. is a Postgraduate Course. The full name of MA is Master of Arts. This course is generally, a broad subdivision of culture composed of many expressive disciplines. It is a 2-year program for students who have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree program. Eligibility Of the Master of Arts [MA]

• Candidates seeking admission to the MA program should have completed bachelor's degree in respective subject with Honours B.A. (Hons).
• There is a Relaxation of 5% aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

The duration of the MA course is 2 years with 4 semesters. The degree should be completed by a student in a maximum of 5 years and minimum of 2 years, and this duration may vary.

MA Admission Procedure

Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university and followed by the personal interview and counseling. In some colleges and universities admission to the MA program is done on the basis of candidate's marks obtained in the bachelor's degree.

MA Entrance Exam Pattern

M.A entrance exam is having a duration of 1 ½ hours (90 minutes). The questions in the entrance test is of objective type. Four alternatives will be there for every question. It is better to attempt all questions as there is no negative marking.
