- In the last (sixth) semester there shall be project work examination which shall carry 200 marks.
- The project shall be completed under the guidance of an internal supervisor of the department.
- The project report will be evaluated by an external examiner.
- The viva-voce will be conducted by the concerned external examiner jointly with the Internal supervisor who will act as the internal examiner..
- The minimum qualifications for admission to BCA course shall be as follows: 50% marks with Mathematics at plus two level provided that the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written test.
- A candidate who has been admitted to B.C.A. course is required to attend and participate all six semesters to be organized by the department To pass, BCA course candidate must secure minimum 40% marks in each semester and 50% marks in aggregate semesters.
- A candidate who has secured 60% or more shall be awarded First Division otherwise he shall be placed in Second Division.
- If a candidate has secured 75% or more marks in the aggregate of six semesters, it shall be mentioned in his degree that he passed BCA Examination with distinction.
- If a student fails to clear a semester, he may have the option to re-appear in one or more paper in which he failed but his Internal Assessment will remain unchanged.
- Only two more chances may be given under ordinance 19 above and the candidate concerning shall take that chance as an ex-student at the subsequent term examination in paper concerned alongwith the regular students.
- To appear in final semester examination a candidate must pass internal Examination. Fee payable by a BCA student shall be as per University rules.
